About This Position
PagerDuty is seeking a Senior Manager, Marketing Operations Analytics to lead data‑driven decision‑making for its marketing organization in Annapolis, Anne Arundel County, US. This senior role combines strategic oversight, analytics leadership, and cross‑functional collaboration to optimize campaign performance and ROI.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and execute the analytics roadmap for Marketing Operations, aligning with business objectives and growth targets.
- Lead a team of analysts and data engineers to collect, clean, and model marketing data from multiple platforms (CRM, advertising, web, product).
- Develop dashboards, predictive models, and attribution frameworks that surface actionable insights for acquisition, retention, and product adoption initiatives.
- Partner with Marketing, Sales, Product, and Finance stakeholders to translate insights into tactical recommendations and measurable experiments.
- Establish data governance, quality standards, and reporting cadence to ensure reliable, real‑time metrics.
- Present findings and strategic recommendations to senior leadership, influencing budget allocation and campaign strategy.
- Stay current on industry best practices, emerging analytics tools, and AI/ML techniques to continuously improve the analytics stack.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Analytics, Computer Science, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
- 8+ years of experience in marketing analytics, data science, or operations, with at least 3 years in a people‑management role.
- Proven track record of building and scaling analytics teams in fast‑growth, SaaS or technology environments.
- Expertise with SQL, Python/R, Tableau, Looker, or similar BI tools; experience with cloud data warehouses (Snowflake, BigQuery) is a plus.
- Strong understanding of digital marketing channels, attribution modeling, and performance measurement.
- Exceptional communication skills – able to convey complex data insights to both technical and non‑technical audiences.
- Analytical mindset with a focus on driving business outcomes and ROI.
