About This Position
Kroll is hiring a Senior Manager, Cloud Security, Cyber Data Resilience in the United States, offering a competitive salary of $157,192 per year. Lead the design, engineering, and implementation of secure cloud solutions across Azure, AWS, and hybrid environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Architect and engineer secure cloud infrastructures for enterprise clients, focusing on Azure, AWS, and hybrid models.
- Develop and enforce cloud security policies, standards, and best‑practice frameworks.
- Lead technical delivery teams through the full lifecycle of cloud security projects, from design to deployment and ongoing monitoring.
- Collaborate with senior consultants and client stakeholders to assess risk, define security roadmaps, and enhance overall security maturity.
- Conduct threat modeling, vulnerability assessments, and penetration testing of cloud environments.
- Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior engineers and analysts.
- Stay current with emerging cloud security technologies and regulatory requirements, translating them into actionable client solutions.
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in cybersecurity with a strong focus on cloud security architecture and engineering.
- Deep expertise in Azure and AWS security services (e.g., IAM, KMS, GuardDuty, Security Center, CloudTrail).
- Hands‑on experience with hybrid cloud environments, container security, and infrastructure‑as‑code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation, ARM templates).
- Professional certifications such as CISSP, CCSP, AWS Certified Security – Specialty, or Azure Security Engineer Associate.
- Proven track record leading complex security engagements for large enterprises.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to translate technical concepts for non‑technical audiences.
Preferred Experience
- Background in data resilience, backup, and disaster recovery strategies in the cloud.
- Experience with DevSecOps pipelines and automated security testing.
- Knowledge of compliance frameworks (ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR, CMMC).
