Zurich NA is hiring a Senior Incident Response Consultant in Lansing, Ingham County, US. This senior‑level role joins the SpearTip team within Zurich Resilience Solutions to lead advanced cyber‑security investigations and protect client assets.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end‑to‑end incident response engagements for high‑profile clients, from detection through containment and remediation.
- Conduct deep‑dive forensic analysis on compromised systems, networks, and cloud environments.
- Develop and deliver actionable threat intelligence and counter‑intelligence briefings to executive stakeholders.
- Collaborate with engineering and threat‑hunting teams to design proactive detection rules and improve security architectures.
- Mentor junior consultants, sharing best practices and advancing the team’s technical expertise.
- Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of zero‑day vulnerabilities, ransomware trends, and emerging attack vectors.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of hands‑on incident response, digital forensics, or cyber‑threat intelligence experience.
- Strong proficiency with forensic tools (e.g., EnCase, FTK, X‑Way), SIEM platforms, and scripting languages (Python, PowerShell).
- Relevant certifications such as GCIH, GCFA, CISSP, or CISM preferred.
- Excellent communication skills to convey complex technical findings to both technical and non‑technical audiences.
- Proven ability to work under pressure during high‑stakes security incidents.
