Job Summary

Zurich NA is seeking a Senior Incident Response Consultant to join its SpearTip cybersecurity consulting team in Chisolm, Montgomery County, US. This senior role focuses on advanced threat detection, incident handling, and cyber counter‑intelligence for high‑value clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end incident response engagements, from detection through remediation and post‑mortem analysis.
• Develop and execute cyber counter‑intelligence strategies to anticipate and neutralize emerging threat actors.
• Collaborate with client security teams to design and implement robust detection and containment processes.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior consultants and analysts.
• Produce detailed incident reports, executive briefings, and actionable recommendations.
• Stay current with zero‑day vulnerabilities, threat‑intel feeds, and emerging security technologies.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands‑on experience in incident response, digital forensics, or cyber threat intelligence.
• Strong knowledge of Windows, Linux, cloud environments, and network security protocols.
• Professional certifications such as GCIH, GCFA, CISSP, or equivalent.
• Proven ability to communicate complex technical findings to both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
• Excellent problem‑solving skills and a proactive, client‑focused mindset.

Compensation

Salary: $99,293.23 per year (fixed). Additional benefits include health insurance, 401(k) match, paid time off, and professional development opportunities.
