Senior Fire Engineer – Remote

Liquid is seeking two Senior Fire Engineers to work remotely on UK projects for a leading specialist consultancy based in Farringdon, Central London. The role offers a competitive salary of £85,000 per annum.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead fire engineering design and fire safety strategy for residential, commercial and mixed‑use developments.
• Produce fire safety calculations, drawings and technical reports that meet UK regulations and client requirements.
• Coordinate with architects, structural engineers and contractors to integrate fire safety solutions.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to knowledge‑sharing within the team.
• Support business development by preparing proposals and presenting technical solutions to clients.

Required Skills & Experience

• Chartered Engineer status (CEng) or equivalent with a strong fire engineering background.
• Minimum 5 years of experience delivering fire safety designs on complex UK projects.
• Proficiency in fire modelling software (e.g., Pathfinder, FDS) and design tools such as Revit or AutoCAD.
• In‑depth knowledge of UK Building Regulations, Approved Document B and relevant standards.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a remote environment.
