Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate directly with the client to capture project requirements and translate them into robust electrical engineering solutions.
• Define project scope, produce detailed schematics, calculations and specifications for new builds, upgrades and retro‑fits.
• Conduct feasibility studies, risk assessments and cost‑benefit analyses for infrastructure enhancements.
• Lead site inspections, commissioning and testing activities to ensure compliance with industry standards and client expectations.

Required Skills & Experience

• Qualified Electrical Engineer (MEng or BEng) with professional registration (e.g., IET Chartered Engineer) preferred.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in industrial or marine electrical engineering, ideally within dockyard or large‑scale infrastructure projects.
• Proficiency in CAD/E‑CAD tools (AutoCAD, EPLAN) and power system analysis software.
• Strong knowledge of UK electrical codes, BS7671, IEC standards and health & safety regulations.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management and problem‑solving abilities.
