Senior DevSecOps Engineer (Remote)

Job Summary

Integrated Data Services is seeking a Senior DevSecOps Engineer (Remote) to join its US‑based team. This senior‑level role focuses on designing, implementing, and maintaining secure DevOps pipelines for government financial management software.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect, build, and manage CI/CD pipelines with a strong security‑by‑design approach.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning using IaC tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible.
• Implement continuous monitoring, vulnerability scanning, and compliance enforcement across cloud and on‑prem environments.
• Collaborate with development, security, and operations teams to embed security controls early in the software development lifecycle.
• Develop and maintain security policies, secrets management, and access controls using tools like Vault, IAM, and OPA.
• Lead incident response for pipeline or infrastructure security events and conduct root‑cause analysis.
• Mentor junior engineers and promote best practices for secure DevOps across the organization.

Required Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, or related fields.
• Deep expertise in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and container orchestration (Kubernetes, Docker).
• Proven experience with security tooling (Snyk, Twistlock, Aqua, SonarQube, etc.) and automated compliance frameworks.
• Strong scripting/programming skills (Python, Bash, PowerShell, Go).
• Hands‑on experience with IaC, CI/CD (Jenkins, GitLab, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions).
• Knowledge of federal security standards (FedRAMP, NIST 800‑53, FIPS).
• Excellent problem‑solving, communication, and leadership abilities.

Preferred Experience

• Experience delivering secure solutions for government financial management systems.
• Certifications such as AWS Certified Security – Specialty, Certified DevSecOps Engineer, or CISSP.

Compensation

Annual salary: $206,273.75 (fixed)
