Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

• Architect and develop scalable data pipelines and data products for commercial analytics, ensuring high performance and reliability.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams—including sales, marketing, finance, and scientific research—to translate business needs into technical solutions.
• Define data models, schema, and metadata standards that enable self‑service analytics and real‑time reporting.
• Implement data governance, security, and compliance best practices in accordance with US healthcare regulations.
• Lead code reviews, mentor junior engineers, and champion best practices in software development and data engineering.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize data workflows using cloud platforms (AWS/GCP) and modern data stack tools (Snowflake, dbt, Airflow, etc.).
• Provide actionable insights through dashboards and visualizations that support commercial decision‑making.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Bioinformatics, or related field.
• 5+ years of professional experience building data products in a commercial or biotech environment.
• Proficiency in Python, SQL, and data‑engineering frameworks (Spark, Kafka, dbt).
• Hands‑on experience with cloud data warehouses (Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery) and orchestration tools (Airflow, Prefect).
• Strong understanding of data governance, privacy (HIPAA), and security standards.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work with both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.

Compensation & Benefits

Base salary range: $131,600 – $197,400 annually, plus competitive benefits, performance bonuses, and opportunities for professional growth within a global leader in antibody therapeutics.
