About This Position

Join Kforce Technology Staffing as a Senior Data Governance Analyst in Draper, Salt Lake County, UT, and lead enterprise‑wide data governance initiatives for a large, stable organization. Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and enforce data governance policies, standards, and procedures across the enterprise.
  • Lead master data management (MDM) initiatives to maintain high‑quality, consistent data across multiple systems.
  • Collaborate with business owners, data stewards, and IT teams to define data ownership and data lifecycle processes.
  • Conduct data quality assessments, root‑cause analysis, and remediation plans to improve data accuracy.
  • Create and maintain data dictionaries, metadata repositories, and data lineage documentation.
  • Support strategic reporting, business intelligence, and analytics projects by ensuring reliable source data.
  • Provide training and guidance to stakeholders on data governance best practices.
  • Monitor compliance with governance frameworks and report metrics to senior leadership.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Management, Computer Science, Business Administration or related field (Master’s preferred).
  • 5+ years of experience in data governance, master data management, or data quality roles.
  • Strong understanding of data governance frameworks (e.g., DAMA‑DMBOK, DCAM).
  • Hands‑on experience with MDM tools (e.g., Informatica, Oracle, SAP MDG) and data profiling utilities.
  • Proficiency in SQL, data modeling, and metadata management.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.

Preferred Experience

  • Certifications such as CDMP, DGSP, or similar.
  • Experience in regulated industries (finance, healthcare, government).
  • Familiarity with cloud data platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and data lake architectures.

Compensation & Benefits

Salary range: $126,611.24 annually. Competitive benefits package includes health, dental, vision, 401(k) match, and professional development opportunities.
