Senior Data Analyst – Tech Observer (Remote – US)

Tech Observer is seeking a Senior Data Analyst with 12‑15 years of analytics or data science experience to support its Media domain, focusing on AdTech and Marketing Analytics. This fully remote role can be based in San Francisco, New York, Seattle or Little Rock.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain measurement and attribution models for advertising campaigns.
• Perform funnel analysis, cohort studies and performance reporting for clients in the TV and digital media space.
• Collaborate with product, engineering and sales teams to translate business questions into data‑driven solutions.
• Mentor junior analysts, oversee data‑quality processes and ensure reproducible analytics pipelines.
• Present insights and strategic recommendations to senior leadership and external stakeholders.

Required Qualifications

• 12‑15 years of professional experience in analytics, data science or a related field.
• 3‑5 years specifically within the AdTech industry; experience with TV advertising is a plus.
• Strong expertise in measurement, attribution, funnel analysis and marketing analytics.
• Proficiency with SQL, Python/R, and data‑visualisation tools (e.g., Tableau, Looker).
• Excellent communication skills and a proven track record of influencing business decisions with data.

Compensation

Annual salary: $123,723.12 (fixed).
