About This Position
Cornerstone onDemand is seeking a Senior Data Analyst for its Customer Retention & Expansion team in Portland, Cumberland County, US. This role will drive predictive analytics to boost revenue durability, improve retention, and guide expansion strategies.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and deliver advanced analytical models that identify churn risk and renewal opportunities across the global customer base.
- Partner with Revenue Operations, Sales, and Customer Success to translate data insights into actionable retention and expansion tactics.
- Build and maintain dashboards and reporting frameworks that provide real‑time visibility into gross and net retention metrics.
- Conduct deep‑dive analyses on post‑sale execution, forecast accuracy, and revenue expansion pipelines.
- Mentor junior analysts and champion best practices in data governance, statistical modeling, and visual storytelling.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Economics, or a related field; Master’s preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in analytics roles focused on customer retention, churn mitigation, or revenue operations.
- Proficiency with SQL, Python or R, and advanced data‑visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
- Strong understanding of predictive modeling techniques such as survival analysis, logistic regression, and machine learning classification.
- Excellent communication skills to convey complex insights to both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
