Job Summary

Cornerstone onDemand is seeking a Senior Data Analyst in Detroit, Wayne County, US. This role focuses on customer retention, churn mitigation and expansion analytics within the Global Revenue Operations Analytics Center of Excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain predictive models to identify at‑risk customers and growth opportunities.
• Partner with Revenue Operations, Sales, and Customer Success teams to translate insights into actionable retention and expansion strategies.
• Design, build, and automate dashboards and reports that track gross/net retention, churn rates, renewal health, and expansion pipelines.
• Conduct deep‑dive analyses on post‑sale execution, forecasting accuracy, and revenue durability.
• Present findings and recommendations to senior leadership, influencing data‑driven decision making.
• Mentor junior analysts and champion best practices in advanced analytics, data governance, and documentation.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Business Analytics, or related field (Master’s preferred).
• 5+ years of experience in advanced analytics, preferably within SaaS or revenue operations.
• Proficiency in SQL, Python or R, and data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
• Strong understanding of customer lifecycle metrics (retention, churn, expansion, renewal).
• Excellent communication skills with ability to convey complex insights to non‑technical stakeholders.
