Senior Data Analyst

Job Summary

Cornerstone onDemand is seeking a Senior Data Analyst for its Revenue Operations – Global Analytics COE in Grand Central, Manhattan. This role focuses on customer retention, churn mitigation and expansion analytics to drive predictable revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and maintain predictive models that identify at‑risk customers and upsell opportunities.
• Partner with Revenue Operations, Sales and Customer Success teams to translate data insights into actionable retention strategies.
• Develop dashboards and automated reporting for gross/net retention, churn rates, renewal execution and expansion pipelines.
• Perform deep‑dive analyses on post‑sale execution, forecast accuracy and revenue durability.
• Lead A/B testing and experiment design to validate retention initiatives.
• Mentor junior analysts and promote best practices in data governance and documentation.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Business Analytics or related field (Master’s preferred).
• 5+ years of experience in advanced analytics, preferably within Revenue Operations or SaaS businesses.
• Proficiency in SQL, Python/R, and data‑visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
• Strong understanding of customer lifecycle metrics: churn, renewal, expansion, and net revenue retention.
• Excellent communication skills to present complex insights to non‑technical stakeholders.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with predictive modeling techniques (logistic regression, survival analysis, machine learning).
• Familiarity with Salesforce, Gainsight or similar CRM/CSM platforms.
• Knowledge of statistical testing and experiment design.

Compensation

Annual salary: $108,289.52 (USD) – fixed, based on experience.

Location

Grand Central, Manhattan, United States – hybrid work model with on‑site collaboration days.
