About This Position
Autism Speaks is seeking a Senior Coordinator, Nationwide Community Engagement Operations to work remotely from Miami, Miami‑Dade County. This role supports field operations, drives daily project execution, and trains community engagement staff.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement and monitor the strategic plan for nationwide community engagement initiatives.
- Coordinate daily project operations, ensuring timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met.
- Provide training, coaching, and ongoing support to community engagement staff across the United States.
- Collect, analyze, and report on engagement metrics to inform continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams, including fundraising, communications, and research, to align efforts with Autism Speaks’ mission.
- Maintain compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in nonprofit management, public health, communications, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
- 5+ years of experience in community engagement, program coordination, or operations within a nonprofit environment.
- Demonstrated passion for autism advocacy and a deep understanding of the autism community.
- Strong project management skills with proficiency in tools such as Asana, Trello, or Microsoft Project.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to train and inspire diverse teams.
- Self‑starter with the ability to work independently in a remote setting while maintaining high accountability.
Preferred Experience
- Experience managing nationwide programs or multi‑state initiatives.
- Familiarity with data visualization and reporting platforms (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
- Certification in project management (PMP, CAPM) or nonprofit management.
Compensation & Benefits
