Key Responsibilities

• Set up and maintain construction projects in the MRI accounting system, including job type, lease, deal, and suite details.
• Review weekly new job setup requests to ensure completeness and accuracy.
• Enter approved budgets, monitor cost coding, and post budget revisions and reallocations.
• Prepare and analyze job cost reports, variance analyses, and cash flow forecasts.
• Coordinate with project managers, subcontractors, and internal teams to resolve accounting issues.
• Maintain compliance with company policies, GAAP, and regulatory requirements.
• Assist in month‑end close, financial statements, and audit preparation for construction projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA preferred.
• 5+ years of construction accounting experience, preferably with MRI or similar ERP systems.
• Strong knowledge of project budgeting, cost control, and financial reporting.
• Excellent analytical, Excel, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
