Key Responsibilities
- Manage job cost accounting for multiple commercial electrical projects, ensuring accurate tracking of labor, materials, and subcontractor expenses.
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements, cash flow forecasts, and budget variance reports for project managers and senior leadership.
- Coordinate with project teams, general contractors, and property owners to resolve billing issues and ensure timely invoicing.
- Maintain compliance with GAAP, state tax regulations, and company accounting policies.
- Oversee payroll processing for field crews, including certified payroll reporting when required.
- Assist in the preparation of year‑end close, audit support, and financial reporting for corporate headquarters.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or CMA certification preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in construction or contract accounting, preferably within the electrical or commercial building sector.
- Proficiency with ERP systems (e.g., Sage 300, Viewpoint) and advanced Excel skills.
