Job Summary
Humana is seeking a Senior Compliance Professional in Salem, Marion County, US. This senior‑level role reports to the Associate Director of Compliance and is responsible for overseeing complex regulatory and contractual compliance initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Interpret, implement, and monitor federal, state, and local regulations affecting Humana’s operations.
- Develop and maintain compliance policies, procedures, and training programs.
- Conduct risk assessments and internal audits to identify gaps and recommend corrective actions.
- Prepare and submit regulatory filings, reports, and documentation to ensure timely compliance.
- Collaborate with legal, finance, operations, and IT teams to embed compliance controls across business processes.
- Lead investigations of compliance breaches, document findings, and drive remediation.
- Stay current on emerging legislation and industry standards, providing strategic guidance to senior leadership.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Law, or related field; advanced degree or certifications (e.g., CCEP, CPA, CIPP) preferred.
- 5+ years of progressive compliance experience in a regulated industry, preferably health care.
- Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple complex projects with autonomy.
- Proficiency with compliance management software and data analytics tools.
Compensation & Benefits
