About This Position

Join Humana as a Senior Compliance Professional in Urbanización El Vedado, San Juan. This senior‑level role ensures the company meets complex regulatory and contractual obligations while providing strategic guidance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Interpret, implement, and monitor federal, state and local regulations affecting Humana’s operations.
  • Lead investigations of compliance issues, prepare root‑cause analyses, and recommend corrective actions.
  • Develop and maintain compliance policies, procedures and training programs.
  • Collaborate with legal, risk, finance and business units to address moderately complex to complex compliance matters.
  • Prepare and present compliance reports for senior leadership and external auditors.
  • Support the Associate Director of Compliance in strategic planning and risk assessments.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Law, Finance or related field; advanced degree or certifications (CCEP, CCEP‑M, CPA) preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in compliance, regulatory affairs or internal audit within a large corporate environment.
  • Strong knowledge of healthcare‑related regulations (HIPAA, HITECH, Medicare/Medicaid rules) and contract compliance.
  • Excellent analytical, written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proven ability to work independently, manage multiple projects and influence senior stakeholders.
