Senior Compliance Professional

Humana is seeking a Senior Compliance Professional in Bismarck, Burleigh County, US. This role reports to the Associate Director of Compliance and is responsible for managing complex regulatory and contractual compliance across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Interpret and apply federal, state, and local regulations to ensure organizational compliance.
• Develop, implement, and monitor compliance policies, procedures, and controls.
• Conduct internal audits and risk assessments, identifying gaps and recommending corrective actions.
• Collaborate with legal, finance, and operational teams to resolve moderately complex to complex compliance issues.
• Prepare and present compliance reports to senior leadership and external regulators.
• Maintain documentation and evidence of compliance activities for audit readiness.
• Provide training and guidance to staff on compliance standards and best practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Law, Healthcare Administration, or related field; advanced degree or certifications (e.g., CCEP, CCO) preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in compliance, preferably within healthcare or a highly regulated industry.
• Strong knowledge of HIPAA, Medicare/Medicaid regulations, and other relevant statutes.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize multiple projects, and influence cross‑functional teams.

Compensation

Salary range: $93,940.20 annually.
