Job Summary
Join C.H. Robinson as a Senior Carrier Payment Support Specialist in Urbanización El Vedado, San Juan. This customer‑facing role handles high‑volume payment inquiries from carrier partners, providing real‑time solutions via phone, email and chat.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact for carrier payment questions and issue resolution.
- Manage a high volume of inbound calls, emails, and live‑chat interactions while maintaining service level agreements.
- Investigate, reconcile, and resolve payment discrepancies quickly and accurately.
- Collaborate with Carrier Accounts Payable, Treasury, and Operations teams to ensure timely settlements.
- Document all interactions in the CRM system and update knowledge base articles.
- Identify trends in payment issues and recommend process improvements.
- Provide training and mentorship to junior support staff.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in carrier payment support, accounts payable, or related finance/customer service roles.
- Strong knowledge of transportation finance, carrier invoicing, and payment platforms.
- Excellent communication skills in English; Spanish proficiency is a plus.
- Proficient with ERP/finance systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Analytical mindset with strong problem‑solving abilities.
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced, high‑volume environment while maintaining accuracy.
