Senior Business Analyst, Specialty Lines

Northbridge Financial Corporation is seeking a Senior Business Analyst, Specialty Lines to join its Toronto, Ontario team. In this senior role you will drive analytical, operational and project support for the Specialty Lines department while helping to implement the division’s strategic initiatives and annual business plan.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive analytical and operational support to Specialty Lines business units.
• Collaborate with senior leadership to translate the Specialty strategy and annual plan into actionable projects.
• Develop, maintain, and continuously improve operational frameworks, KPIs and performance dashboards.
• Lead cross‑functional project teams, ensuring timelines, budgets and quality standards are met.
• Identify opportunities for process optimisation, risk mitigation and revenue growth within specialty insurance lines.
• Prepare and present detailed reports, business cases and executive summaries to stakeholders.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
• 5+ years of business analysis experience, preferably within insurance or financial services.
• Strong knowledge of specialty insurance products and market dynamics.
• Proven ability to manage complex projects and lead cross‑functional teams.
• Advanced proficiency in data analysis tools (SQL, Excel, Power BI, Tableau) and financial modeling.
• Excellent communication, presentation and stakeholder‑management skills.
