Senior AWS Cloud Software Engineer role with Michael Page International, based in South Boston, Suffolk County, MA. Work for a publicly‑traded medical device leader transforming organ transplant therapy.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Digital Application Architect and Design team to develop HIPAA‑compliant, patient‑focused cloud solutions.
• Design, implement, and maintain scalable AWS infrastructure using services such as EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, and CloudFormation.
• Develop secure, high‑performance microservices in Java, Python or Node.js and integrate them with existing medical device platforms.
• Lead code reviews, enforce best practices, and mentor junior engineers.
• Automate CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions, Jenkins or CodePipeline.
• Monitor system health, perform root‑cause analysis, and ensure 99.9% uptime.
• Stay current with AWS security, compliance (HIPAA, GDPR) and industry standards.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of professional experience building and operating large‑scale AWS cloud applications.
• Strong expertise in cloud security, IAM, VPC, encryption, and compliance frameworks.
• Proficiency in at least one modern programming language (Java, Python, Node.js).
• Hands‑on experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes/EKS) and infrastructure‑as‑code.

Compensation & Benefits
