About This Position
Whoop is seeking a Senior Accountant in Boston, Suffolk County, US to lead cash, debt, payroll and expense management while ensuring balance‑sheet integrity.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily cash operations, including bank reconciliations and cash forecasting.
- Oversee debt accounting, interest accruals, and covenant compliance.
- Maintain prepaid expense schedules and ensure proper expense recognition.
- Process and reconcile payroll, tax withholdings, and related liabilities.
- Administer corporate credit card programs, expense reporting and month‑end close.
- Prepare accurate journal entries, account analyses, and supporting documentation.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to improve financial controls and reporting efficiency.
- Assist in audit preparation and respond to internal/external auditor inquiries.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field; CPA preferred.
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in a fast‑growth tech or SaaS environment.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, cash management, payroll processing, and credit‑card accounting.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and experience with ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, Workday).
- Excellent analytical, organizational and communication skills.
Compensation & Benefits
Salary: $85,228.75 annually (fixed). Competitive benefits package includes health insurance, 401(k) match, generous paid time off, and wellness programs.
