Job Summary

Senior Accountant role with LHH US in Sacramento, Sacramento County, CA. Full‑time, 100% in‑office position reporting to the Controller.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform hands‑on general accounting tasks, including month‑end close and journal entries.
• Reconcile bank statements and maintain accurate account balances.
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable cycles, ensuring timely billing and collections.
• Oversee payroll processing and ensure compliance with regulations.
• Prepare financial reports and support the Controller with analysis and budgeting.
• Assist with special projects, audits, and process improvements as assigned.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in the non‑profit sector.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, month‑end close procedures, and payroll administration.
• Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite) and Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast‑paced office environment.
