Scrum Lead – Chassis Analytics
About This Position
General Motors is hiring a Scrum Lead for its Chassis Analytics software team in Edgewood, Richland County, US. Lead a Scrum team of 6‑12 engineers developing AI‑driven solutions for vehicle braking, steering, suspension and dynamics.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as Scrum Master for a cross‑functional team delivering chassis analytics software.
- Facilitate sprint planning, daily stand‑ups, reviews and retrospectives.
- Coordinate with product owners, data scientists and hardware engineers to define backlog items.
- Ensure delivery of high‑quality code, models and visualisations using machine‑learning and AI techniques.
- Remove impediments and protect the team from external disruptions.
- Track progress, metrics and continuous improvement initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience leading Scrum teams (6‑12 members) in software development.
- Strong understanding of data analysis, analytics, machine learning and AI concepts.
- Background in automotive chassis domains (braking, steering, suspension, vehicle dynamics) is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication, facilitation and conflict‑resolution skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science or related field.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with Python, C++, or MATLAB for data‑driven vehicle modeling.
- Familiarity with Agile tools such as Jira, Confluence or Azure DevOps.
- Knowledge of automotive standards (ISO 26262, AUTOSAR) and safety‑critical development.
