Scrum Lead – Chassis Analytics
About This Position
General Motors is seeking a Scrum Lead for its in‑house Chassis Analytics team in Nashville, Davidson County, US. Lead a scrum team of 6‑12 engineers developing AI‑driven software for braking, steering, suspension and vehicle dynamics.
Key Responsibilities
- Facilitate all Scrum ceremonies (daily stand‑ups, sprint planning, reviews, retrospectives) for a cross‑functional team.
- Guide the design, development, testing and deployment of chassis analytics software leveraging data science, machine learning and AI.
- Collaborate with product owners, domain experts and hardware engineers to define clear backlog items and acceptance criteria.
- Remove impediments and ensure the team follows Agile best practices and GM engineering standards.
- Track performance metrics, report progress to senior leadership, and drive continuous improvement.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Proven experience (3+ years) as a Scrum Master/Leader in a software development environment, preferably automotive or embedded systems.
- Strong understanding of data analytics, machine learning pipelines, and AI concepts applied to vehicle dynamics.
- Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or equivalent Agile certification.
- Excellent communication, coaching and stakeholder‑management skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science or related field.
