Scrum Lead – Chassis Analytics
About This Position
General Motors is hiring a Scrum Lead for its Chassis Analytics team in Talcott Village, Hartford County, US. This role guides a 6‑12 engineer scrum team developing AI‑driven software for vehicle braking, steering, suspension and dynamics.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead a cross‑functional scrum team in the design, development, and delivery of chassis analytics software solutions.
- Facilitate sprint planning, daily stand‑ups, retrospectives and backlog grooming.
- Collaborate with data scientists, machine‑learning engineers and domain experts to translate vehicle dynamics requirements into technical specifications.
- Ensure high‑quality code, continuous integration, and automated testing practices.
- Track progress against KPIs, manage risks and remove impediments to keep the team on schedule.
- Report status, insights and performance metrics to senior leadership and product owners.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (advanced degree preferred).
- 5+ years of software development experience, with at least 2 years in a Scrum Master or Agile Lead role.
- Strong knowledge of data analytics, machine learning, and AI concepts applied to automotive chassis systems.
- Proficiency with modern programming languages (e.g., Python, C++, Java) and data‑processing frameworks.
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder‑management skills.
- Experience with Agile tools such as JIRA, Confluence, or Azure DevOps.
Preferred Experience
- Background in automotive engineering, vehicle dynamics, or related vehicle domains.
- Hands‑on experience with sensor data, CAN bus, or real‑time telemetry.
- Certification as Scrum Master (PSM, CSM) or SAFe Agilist.
Compensation & Benefits
