Scrum Lead – Chassis Analytics
About This Position
General Motors is seeking a Scrum Lead for its In‑house Chassis Analytics software design team in Trenton, Mercer County, US. Lead a scrum team of 6‑12 engineers developing data‑driven solutions for braking, steering, suspension and vehicle dynamics.
Key Responsibilities
- Facilitate all Scrum ceremonies (daily stand‑ups, sprint planning, reviews, retrospectives) for a cross‑functional team of software engineers, data scientists and analysts.
- Guide the team in designing, building, testing and deploying analytics, machine‑learning and AI models that improve chassis performance.
- Maintain and prioritize the product backlog in collaboration with product owners and technical leads.
- Remove impediments, manage risks and ensure timely delivery of high‑quality software releases.
- Mentor team members on Agile best practices, continuous integration, and automated testing.
- Coordinate with vehicle engineering, safety, and validation groups to align analytics solutions with real‑world chassis requirements.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science or a related field (Master’s preferred).
- 5+ years of professional software development experience, with at least 2 years in a Scrum Master or Scrum Lead role.
- Strong knowledge of Agile frameworks, JIRA/Confluence, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Hands‑on experience with data analysis, machine learning libraries (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit‑learn) and large‑scale analytics platforms.
- Familiarity with vehicle dynamics, chassis systems, or automotive engineering is a plus.
- Excellent communication, leadership and conflict‑resolution skills.
Compensation & Benefits
