Scrum Lead – Chassis Analytics
About This Position
Job Summary
General Motors is seeking a Scrum Lead for its Chassis Analytics software design team in Archer, Laramie County, US. Lead a scrum team of 6‑12 engineers developing AI‑driven solutions for vehicle braking, steering, suspension and dynamics.
Key Responsibilities
- Facilitate all scrum ceremonies (daily stand‑ups, sprint planning, reviews, retrospectives) for a cross‑functional team.
- Coordinate the design, development, testing and deployment of analytics and machine‑learning models that improve chassis performance.
- Collaborate with vehicle engineers, data scientists and product owners to translate domain requirements into technical backlog items.
- Ensure delivery of high‑quality, scalable software within sprint commitments and roadmap timelines.
- Mentor engineers on agile best practices, code quality, and continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines.
- Track key performance indicators (KPIs) for sprint velocity, defect rates and model accuracy, reporting progress to senior leadership.
- Identify and mitigate risks related to data integrity, model bias, and system integration.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science or related field; Master’s preferred.
- 5+ years of professional software development experience, with at least 2 years in a Scrum Master or Scrum Lead role.
- Strong knowledge of vehicle chassis domains (braking, steering, suspension, dynamics) and experience applying analytics or AI in automotive contexts.
- Proficiency in Python, C++, or Java and familiarity with data‑science libraries (TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit‑learn).
- Hands‑on experience with agile tools (Jira, Azure DevOps) and CI/CD platforms (Jenkins, GitLab).
- Excellent communication, leadership and problem‑solving skills.
Compensation
Salary range: $108,188.77 – $108,188.77 per year.
