Sales Manager

Tomra is hiring a Sales Manager to drive sales of recycling sorting capital equipment across the West Coast USA, based remotely in Paw Creek, Mecklenburg County.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the full sales cycle for sorting equipment, from prospecting to contract negotiation.
• Achieve and exceed revenue targets within the West Coast territory.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with waste‑management firms, municipalities and industrial customers.
• Conduct technical presentations and product demonstrations, leveraging a solid engineering background.
• Travel 50‑70% (domestic and occasional international) to meet clients and attend industry events.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams—including engineering, service and global sales—to ensure customer success.

Required Qualifications

• Proven sales experience in capital equipment, industrial machinery or recycling technology.
• Technical aptitude with the ability to explain complex sorting systems.
• Self‑motivated, results‑driven and comfortable working independently.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills.
• Willingness to travel extensively across the West Coast.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to work remotely.

Compensation & Benefits

Base salary: $109,887.88 annually, plus performance‑based incentives and comprehensive benefits package.
