About This Position

Job Summary

Join Gilead’s Health Economics Outcomes Research (HEOR) team as a RWD Data Analyst in Raleigh, Wake County, US. You will support real‑world evidence (RWE) initiatives that enhance the safety and value assessment of new medicines across their lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

  • Extract, clean, and validate real‑world data (claims, EMR, registries) for analytical projects.
  • Develop and maintain reproducible data pipelines using SQL, Python or R.
  • Perform descriptive and inferential statistical analyses to generate evidence for health‑technology assessments.
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional HEOR scientists, clinicians, and biostatisticians to design study protocols.
  • Produce clear visualisations and technical reports for internal stakeholders and external publications.
  • Stay current with regulatory guidance and methodological best practices in RWE.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor’s or higher degree in Epidemiology, Biostatistics, Health Economics, Data Science or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience working with large healthcare datasets and real‑world evidence.
  • Proficiency in SQL and at least one analytical language (Python, R, SAS).
  • Strong knowledge of study design, propensity scoring, survival analysis, and health‑economic modeling.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to translate complex findings for non‑technical audiences.

Compensation

Annual total bill rate: $109,769.73
