Risk & Controls Systems Advisor

Meta is seeking a Risk Controls Systems Advisor to join its Global Finance Risk & Controls team in Tarrytown, Travis County, US. This role supports finance operations by designing, testing, and maintaining control frameworks for critical financial systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with finance and engineering stakeholders to identify, assess, and mitigate risks in financial reporting systems.
• Design and implement automated control tests, monitoring scripts, and remediation processes.
• Maintain documentation of control design, testing outcomes, and remediation status in compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
• Provide guidance on system changes, ensuring new functionalities do not introduce control gaps.
• Lead periodic control assessments, root‑cause analyses, and continuous‑improvement initiatives.
• Support audit engagements by supplying evidence, explanations, and corrective action plans.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Computer Science, or related field; MBA or CPA is a plus.
• 3+ years of experience in financial controls, risk management, or systems audit within a large technology or finance organization.
• Strong analytical skills with proficiency in SQL, Python or similar scripting languages for data extraction and validation.
• Knowledge of SOX, GAAP, and other regulatory frameworks.
• Excellent communication skills to translate technical findings into business‑friendly recommendations.

Compensation

Salary: $108,948.54 per year (fixed).
