Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
- Investigate and resolve outstanding insurance claims with no response, claim edits, or denials.
- Follow up promptly on unpaid claims to keep A/R aging within acceptable limits.
- Analyze claim rejections, correct errors, and resubmit to payors.
- Collaborate with clinical and billing teams to obtain necessary documentation.
- Maintain accurate patient accounting records and update status in the billing system.
- Provide exceptional customer service to patients regarding billing inquiries.
- Generate reports on claim performance and aging trends.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; associate’s degree in health administration or related field preferred.
- Experience in medical billing, patient accounting, or revenue cycle management.
- Strong knowledge of insurance claim processes and payer guidelines.
- Excellent communication, problem‑solving, and analytical skills.
- Proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) and billing software.
- Detail‑oriented with ability to manage multiple priorities.
Compensation & Benefits
