About This Position

Dropbox is seeking a Revenue Accountant to join its Order to Cash accounting team in the United States. This role focuses on accurate revenue recognition, monthly close support, and cross‑functional partnership.

Key Responsibilities

  • Execute month‑end and quarter‑end close activities for revenue accounts, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.
  • Prepare and review revenue schedules, journal entries, and supporting documentation in compliance with US GAAP and company policies.
  • Maintain and improve internal controls related to revenue recognition and billing processes.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Legal, Finance and Operations teams to resolve revenue-related issues and implement process enhancements.
  • Assist in the preparation of external audit schedules and respond to auditor inquiries.
  • Analyze revenue trends, identify variances, and provide actionable insights to senior management.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field; CPA or equivalent certification preferred.
  • 2‑5 years of experience in revenue accounting, order‑to‑cash, or financial reporting.
  • Strong understanding of ASC 606 revenue recognition standards.
  • Proficiency with ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, SAP) and advanced Excel/Google Sheets skills.
  • Excellent analytical, communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Detail‑oriented with a commitment to accuracy and continuous improvement.

Compensation & Benefits
