About This Position
NavitasPartners is hiring a Responsible AI Governance Lead for Enterprise AI Platforms, based in Brampton, Peel region (Canada). This contract/full‑time role focuses on driving ethical, compliant and scalable AI adoption across enterprise data platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Define, implement and continuously improve Responsible AI frameworks and governance models.
- Establish AI risk assessment, monitoring and mitigation processes aligned with regulatory standards (e.g., GDPR, Canada’s AI Directive).
- Collaborate with data engineers, product owners and legal teams to embed ethical guidelines into AI lifecycle.
- Develop and deliver training, documentation and best‑practice guides for AI governance across the organization.
- Lead audits, reporting and compliance reviews to ensure AI systems meet internal and external requirements.
- Provide strategic recommendations to senior leadership on responsible AI adoption and risk management.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Law, Ethics or related field; advanced degree preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in AI governance, responsible AI, compliance or risk management within enterprise environments.
- Strong knowledge of AI ethics frameworks, regulatory landscapes in North America and best‑practice governance models.
- Proven ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear policies and stakeholder communications.
- Experience with enterprise data platforms (e.g., Snowflake, Azure Synapse, AWS Redshift) and AI/ML pipelines.
- Excellent analytical, problem‑solving and interpersonal skills.
