Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive respiratory care to patients across acute, critical care, and outpatient settings.
• Perform assessments, develop and implement treatment plans, and monitor patient progress.
• Operate and maintain ventilators, oxygen therapy equipment, and other respiratory devices.
• Educate patients and families on breathing techniques, equipment use, and disease management.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Document all interventions accurately in the electronic health record.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Current state license as a Registered Respiratory Therapist in Louisiana.
