Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with clients to capture design goals, lifestyle needs and budget constraints.
• Create concept sketches, 3‑D renderings and detailed construction documents for kitchen and bathroom projects.
• Select finishes, fixtures, cabinetry, lighting and hardware that meet aesthetic and performance criteria.
• Coordinate with project managers, contractors and suppliers to ensure designs are executed accurately and on schedule.
• Prepare material specifications, cost estimates and ordering packages.
• Conduct virtual design reviews and revisions based on client feedback.
• Stay current with industry trends, sustainable materials and building codes.

Requirements

• Proven experience in residential kitchen and bathroom design, preferably with a portfolio of completed projects.
• Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or Chief Architect.
• Strong visualisation skills and an eye for detail, colour, and space planning.
• Excellent communication skills for remote client interactions.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
• Knowledge of Canadian building codes and material standards is a plus.
