Job Summary

ResCare Community Living is hiring a Direct Support Professional (PRN) in Bonita, San Diego County. This part‑time, per‑diem role provides hands‑on care for adults with disabilities, supporting their daily living and promoting independence.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide personal care such as feeding, toileting, ambulation, and medication monitoring.
• Facilitate positive social interactions and community integration for clients.
• Maintain a safe, clean living environment and follow all safety protocols.
• Encourage self‑help skills and support clients in daily routines.
• Accompany clients to appointments, outings, and scheduled activities.
• Document care activities accurately and communicate any changes in condition to supervisory staff.

Qualifications & Requirements

• High school diploma or GED; relevant certifications (CPR/First Aid, Home Health Aide, etc.) preferred.
• Compassionate, patient, and reliable with a genuine desire to support individuals with disabilities.
• Ability to lift/transfer clients safely (up to 50 lb) and perform light housekeeping.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for client outings.

Compensation & Benefits

Annual salary: $28,938.12 (PRN/Per Diem). Flexible scheduling and opportunities for professional development.
