RES Help Desk Supervisor (Remote)

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of Help Desk Engineers, ensuring high‑quality daily support for the Veteran Affairs platform.
• Act as the primary escalation point for complex technical issues, overseeing troubleshooting, documentation, and resolution.
• Coordinate shift schedules, monitor performance metrics, and provide regular feedback and coaching.
• Maintain compliance with United States Suitability/Public Trust requirements.
• Collaborate with project managers, developers, and other IT stakeholders to improve service delivery.
• Prepare and present status reports, incident trends, and improvement recommendations to senior leadership.

Required Qualifications

• U.S. citizenship with ability to obtain and maintain a Suitability/Public Trust clearance.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a help desk or technical support environment, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or lead role.
• Strong knowledge of Windows, Active Directory, networking basics, and ticketing systems.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for remote team coordination.
• Proven ability to prioritize multiple incidents and manage service‑level agreements.

• Experience supporting government or healthcare IT systems, especially Veteran Affairs applications.
• ITIL or related service‑management certification.
