RES Help Desk Supervisor (Remote)

GovCIO is seeking a RES Help Desk Supervisor to work fully remote from anywhere in the United States. This role leads a team of Help Desk Engineers supporting the Veteran Affairs system.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise daily activities of Help Desk Engineers, ensuring timely troubleshooting, documentation, and resolution of incidents.
• Serve as the primary escalation point for complex technical issues.
• Coordinate with Veteran Affairs stakeholders to maintain system performance and compliance.
• Develop and deliver training, coaching, and performance feedback to team members.
• Monitor service metrics, generate reports, and implement process improvements.
• Maintain security and suitability/public trust requirements for all operations.

Required Qualifications

• Proven experience supervising an IT help desk or similar technical support team.
• Strong knowledge of Windows, networking, and common enterprise applications.
• Excellent communication and customer‑service skills.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a US Suitability/Public Trust clearance.
• Experience with ticketing systems and ITIL best practices.

Preferred Experience

• Background supporting government or veteran services.
• Familiarity with remote work tools and virtual collaboration platforms.

Compensation

Salary: $53,867.02 annually (fixed).
