Job Summary

Insight Global is hiring a Remote IT Risk Operations Manager for a prestigious Am Law 50 firm based in Grand Central, Manhattan. This senior role leads a small team within Governance, Risk & Compliance, partnering with IT, Security Engineering, General Counsel, and executive leadership.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a high‑performing IT risk operations team, setting priorities and performance metrics.
• Design, implement, and continuously improve IT governance frameworks to align with regulatory and industry standards.
• Collaborate with senior IT and security leaders to identify, assess, and remediate technology risk across the firm’s global infrastructure.
• Oversee risk measurement processes, including risk registers, dashboards, and reporting to senior leadership and the board.
• Coordinate incident response activities, ensuring timely communication and root‑cause analysis.
• Drive the integration of risk management practices into all technology projects and vendor relationships.
• Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of emerging cyber threats, compliance requirements, and best practices.
• Prepare and present risk assessments, audit findings, and mitigation plans to General Counsel and executive committees.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Business Administration or related field; advanced degree or certifications (CISA, CRISC, CISSP) preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in IT risk management, governance, or compliance, preferably within a large professional services or law‑firm environment.
• Proven leadership experience managing cross‑functional teams.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate complex technical risk into clear business impact.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management abilities.
• Experience with risk management tools, GRC platforms, and security frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001, SOC 2).

Compensation

Annual salary: $160,685.84
