Remote AWS Product Owner

Insight Global is hiring a Remote AWS Product Owner to lead a large‑scale digital transformation for a major healthcare client. This fully remote role partners with engineers, data teams and cloud stakeholders to deliver a modern, cloud‑native transactional data platform.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with platform engineers, data scientists and cloud architects to define, prioritize and refine the product backlog.
• Translate high‑level business objectives into clear, actionable user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Own the product roadmap, ensuring alignment with enterprise‑wide applications and API strategy.
• Facilitate sprint planning, daily stand‑ups, reviews and retrospectives in an Agile environment.
• Monitor key performance indicators, track delivery milestones and report progress to senior stakeholders.
• Identify and mitigate risks related to cloud security, compliance and data governance.

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a Product Owner or Product Manager in cloud‑focused environments.
• Strong understanding of AWS services (e.g., EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, API Gateway) and modern data platforms.
• Proven track record delivering enterprise‑grade, transactional data solutions.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Experience working with Agile/Scrum teams and using tools such as JIRA or Azure DevOps.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field (or equivalent experience).

Preferred Experience

• Background in healthcare IT, HIPAA compliance, or related regulatory environments.
• Certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect or Certified Scrum Product Owner.
