Job Summary
Cardinal Health is seeking a Reimbursement Solutions Analyst to join its team in Urbanización El Vedado, San Juan. This role supports healthcare reimbursement processes and data analytics to improve financial performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze reimbursement data from insurers, government programs, and pharmacy benefit managers.
- Develop and maintain dashboards that track claim denials, payment trends, and revenue cycle metrics.
- Collaborate with finance, clinical, and operations teams to identify process improvements and resolve reimbursement issues.
- Prepare reports and presentations for senior leadership on reimbursement performance and risk mitigation.
- Support audits, compliance reviews, and regulatory reporting requirements.
- Stay current on Medicare, Medicaid, and private payer policies to ensure accurate billing practices.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Health Administration, Business Analytics, or related field.
- 2+ years of experience in healthcare reimbursement, claims analysis, or revenue cycle management.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel, SQL, and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
- Excellent communication skills and ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
- Knowledge of US healthcare payer regulations and coding standards (ICD‑10, CPT).
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s degree or relevant certifications (e.g., RHIT, CPC).
- Experience with enterprise reimbursement systems such as Epic, Cerner, or McKesson.
- Familiarity with statistical analysis software (R, SAS, Python).
