Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing assessments and develop personalised care plans for clients in their homes.
• Administer medications, wound care, and other clinical treatments in accordance with best practice and regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including physiotherapists, occupational therapists and GPs, to coordinate holistic care.
• Educate clients and their families on health management, disease prevention and self‑care techniques.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation using Healthvision’s electronic health record system.
• Respond promptly to urgent clinical situations and ensure appropriate escalation.
• Participate in on‑call roster and occasional weekend shifts as required.

Essential Requirements

• Current New Zealand registration as a Registered Nurse (RN) with the Nursing Council of New Zealand.
• Minimum 2 years recent experience in community or home‑based nursing.
• Strong communication skills and cultural competence, particularly with Māori and Pacific peoples.
• Valid driver’s licence and reliable vehicle for travel between client homes.
• Ability to work independently, manage time effectively and maintain professional boundaries.
• Current CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
