Job Summary

Meridian Illinois is seeking a Registered Dietician Nutritionist to join its Medical Management/Health Services team. This remote position is based in Newburg, Macon County, Illinois, with up to 10% travel for events.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide evidence‑based nutrition assessments and interventions for a diverse member population of over 28 million.
• Develop individualized care plans and monitor progress toward health goals.
• Collaborate with marketing, communications, and community outreach teams to promote nutrition education programs.
• Participate in virtual and in‑person health events, workshops, and webinars.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation in compliance with regulatory standards.
• Stay current with industry guidelines, research, and best practices.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Dietician (RD) license in the state of Illinois.
• Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, or related field; Master’s preferred.
• At least 2 years of clinical nutrition experience, preferably in a managed‑care or large‑scale health organization.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work cross‑functionally.
• Proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Willingness to travel up to 10% for events and trainings.
