Quality Receiving Inspector

Pathway Group is hiring a Quality Receiving Inspector in Seal Beach, Orange County (US). The role ensures accurate receipt, inspection, and storage of incoming goods while maintaining compliance with quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive, verify, and document incoming shipments against purchase orders and packing lists.
• Conduct visual and dimensional inspections of parts and products, recording findings in the warehouse management system.
• Identify non‑conforming items, initiate quarantine procedures, and communicate discrepancies to suppliers and internal teams.
• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material‑handling equipment safely and efficiently.
• Maintain organized storage locations, ensuring proper labeling and traceability.
• Support continuous‑improvement initiatives by suggesting process enhancements and participating in root‑cause investigations.

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; technical or engineering coursework is a plus.
• 2+ years of experience in a production, assembly, or warehouse environment.
• Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) and standard shipping/receiving procedures.
• Forklift certification and proven safe operation of material‑handling equipment.
• Strong attention to detail, good documentation skills, and ability to follow SOPs.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.

Compensation & Benefits
