About This Position
Join a leading online gaming company as a Quality Assurance Specialist, working bilingual in English and Portuguese. The role is based in North York, Toronto with a hybrid schedule (2 days in the office, 3 days remote).
Key Responsibilities
- Execute functional, regression, and smoke testing on gaming platforms to ensure a seamless player experience.
- Document, track, and verify defects using industry‑standard QA tools.
- Collaborate with developers, product owners, and support teams to reproduce and resolve issues promptly.
- Create and maintain clear, bilingual test cases, test scripts, and test data sets.
- Participate in daily stand‑ups and sprint planning meetings, providing status updates and risk assessments.
- Assist in continuous improvement initiatives, suggesting process enhancements and automation opportunities.
Required Qualifications
- Fluent in both English and Portuguese (spoken and written).
- Minimum 2 years of experience in software quality assurance, preferably in gaming or entertainment.
- Proficiency with test management tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail) and defect tracking systems.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with meticulous attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a fast‑paced, collaborative team.
- Basic understanding of game mechanics and player experience is a plus.
