Job Summary

The Carteret Management Corporation is hiring a Property Manager of Affordable Community in South Bradenton, Manatee County, Florida. This full‑time role oversees day‑to‑day operations of a newly built, fully leased affordable housing community.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of property operations, including leasing, rent collection, and tenant relations.
• Coordinate maintenance requests, ensure prompt resolution, and oversee vendor contracts.
• Prepare monthly financial reports, budgets, and variance analyses for senior management.
• Enforce community policies, fair‑housing regulations, and local compliance standards.
• Conduct regular property inspections to maintain safety, cleanliness, and aesthetic standards.
• Develop and implement resident engagement programs to promote a supportive community environment.
• Handle conflict resolution, evictions, and legal proceedings in accordance with state law.

Qualifications & Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree in Business, Real Estate, or related field preferred.
• 2+ years experience in property management, preferably affordable housing.
• Strong knowledge of Florida landlord‑tenant law and HUD affordable housing guidelines.
• Excellent communication, organization, and problem‑solving skills.
• Proficiency with property management software (e.g., Yardi, AppFolio) and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Valid Florida driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Compensation & Benefits
