Property Accountant

The Property Accountant (CAM & Recoveries) role at Beacon Hill Staffing Group, LLC is a full‑time position based in Irvine, Orange County, US. You will manage accounting functions for a commercial real‑estate portfolio, focusing on CAM charges, expense recoveries, taxes and insurance.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and reconcile Common Area Maintenance (CAM) statements and allocate expenses to tenants according to lease agreements.
• Process operating expense recoveries, ensuring accurate billing and timely collections.
• Calculate, record, and remit real‑estate taxes and insurance premiums for each property.
• Generate monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports for property owners and management.
• Maintain lease abstracts and verify compliance with lease terms, including escalations and expense pass‑throughs.
• Assist property managers with budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis.
• Coordinate with external auditors during annual audit cycles.
• Support month‑end close activities and ensure general ledger integrity.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in commercial real‑estate accounting, preferably with CAM and recoveries.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, lease accounting and real‑estate tax regulations.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Yardi, MRI, SAP) and advanced Excel skills.
• Excellent analytical, organizational and communication abilities.
• Detail‑oriented with a high degree of accuracy and integrity.

Compensation & Benefits
