Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and maintain cost accounting systems for projects and property assets.
- Apply cost accounting policies in line with industry standards and company procedures.
- Manage day‑to‑day inventory, capital assets, and project accounting data.
- Prepare accurate reports, budgets, and forecasts for projects, programs, and departments.
- Coordinate with project managers and finance teams to ensure proper cost tracking and variance analysis.
- Support month‑end and year‑end close processes, including journal entries and reconciliations.
- Assist in audits and ensure compliance with internal controls and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in cost accounting, preferably in energy or utility sector.
- Proficiency with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and advanced Excel skills.
- Strong analytical, communication, and problem‑solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate in a hybrid remote environment.
